Georgie is a Sports and Exercise Physiologist and Research Scientist at Orreco. She leads the science behind their Female Athlete Programme and is co-creator of the FitrWoman and FitrCoach platforms. Her mission is to tackle barriers for women in sport, while helping to optimise performance by better understanding female physiology. Georgie’s research is focused on evaluating how the fluctuations in ovarian hormones impact all aspects of female physiology, with the emphasis on sports performance.

Georgie works with a whole range of Orreco’s elite athletes across the world in professional and Olympic sports, including the USWNT at the 2019 World Cup, Chelsea Ladies and Newcastle United.
Georgie holds a PhD from University College London and has published widely on the female athlete, iron deficiency and the menstrual cycle.
